Environmental Burden Index Wall Map

The map below highlights the initial version of Environmental Burden Index (EBI) which has since been incorporated into the Environmental Justice Index (EJI). We created this map back in 2017 and it was the culmination of months of hard work and countless revisions. I was the main designer and cartographer on the map while Jess Kolling was the project lead and Brian Lewis was the statistician for the Index. We submitted this map to the 2017 Esri User Conference (Esri UC) where it won the Best Cartography award.
